About the Project

Eurowings is a German low-cost airline and subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, with hubs in Düsseldorf and Cologne. Operating 140+ routes across Europe and beyond, Eurowings positions itself as the smart alternative to both legacy carriers and ultra-low-cost airlines — offering competitive prices with Lufthansa-quality service standards.

The Challenge

What Was the Problem?

Airlines struggle to attract talent in a competitive job market. Eurowings needed to stand out as an employer — showing the real people behind the brand, not just corporate job postings that blend into the noise.

Our Approach

How We Solved It

We created humor-based employee videos starring real Eurowings cabin crew and ground staff. Instead of polished corporate content, we let employees be themselves — funny, relatable, authentic. The videos went viral on YouTube and TikTok, tripling job applications while building genuine brand affinity with passengers who loved seeing the human side of the airline.

1

Employees as Stars

Real cabin crew and ground staff — not actors, not scripts. Authentic humor that no agency could fake.

2

Humor-First Strategy

Funny videos outperform job posts 10:1. We made aviation careers look fun, not just professional.

3

3x Application Increase

Employer branding that actually works: showing real daily life drove 3x more applications for open positions.

4

Cross-Platform Virality

YouTube for long-form, TikTok for discovery, Instagram for community. One production, three platforms.

Key Takeaway

Employer branding: "The Office" style works because it feels real. Use actual employees, not actors — the authentic awkwardness is what makes people apply.
